Hello All!
It’s May already. Hard to believe really.
With the smell of new cut grass and fresh plowed fields, we all now
know that we can get out for the most part and enjoy our Morgan
friends more…the two and four legged ones.
I want to take this time to thank Dave &
Janet Williamson for a wonderful time at the April meeting. The demo
was great and a big THANK YOU needs to go to Laurie French-Treber for
a very informative talk and demo. THANK YOU AGAIN.
We have a change in our June event! The
June trail ride has been rescheduled for October 2nd,
due to a new grandbaby coming to the Mathes fold. Please make this
change on your calendar. In place of that trail ride, a clinic,
planned for June 13th, will be held at the Williamson’s. There was
quite a bit of interest in Laurie’s training method and we have asked
her to present a clinic for the club. A flyer and registration form
are included in this newsletter. Please note the registration deadline
is June 1st.
Also, the first club horse show is coming up on May 29th and 30th.
There is something for everyone at the show and it is open to all
breeds, so tell your friends about it. I do suggest, however, if Darlene Horner
you do plan to come to any of the MVMHC Versatility shows this year,
that you make hotel reservations as soon as possible, as it seems
there are a few hotels that are already booked up.
State Fair books are now online. We hope to see many of you at the
State Fair this year!
Until next month, God’s speed to each of you, and I hope to see you
soon.
