Hello All!

   March is here and I am hoping winter is almost GONE! Since I am writing this before the February meeting, I am truly hoping the White Elephant Sale went well. I will just go ahead and tell you all that were t h e r e , “ T H A N K YOU!!!!”

   The Illinois Horse Fair and our annual Morgan Horse Sale are coming up soon and we need your help. If you are able to help at the Horse Fair, we need people to decorate in the barn area. We plan to begin decorating at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5th. Also, we can always use people to sit at our booth on Saturday and Sunday. The Illinois Horse Fair is a great opportunity for all of us to promote the Morgan breed. I hope to see many of you there!

   If you can help with the sale, we need help on Friday, March 19th and Saturday, March 20th. If you can help on Friday, and can be there early, we plan to set up tables at 10:00 a.m. and get everything ready before people start arriving with their tack and horses. If you can't make it by 10:00 a.m., please come anytime that day. Any and all help is appreciated! And, on Saturday, we can always use extra hands in the sale arena and in the barn. Please check with me, Jeff, or Brenda and we can get you set up with a job.

   March is a big month for our club. We have lots to do and I do hope to see each of you sometime during the month. Another thing I would like to ask of everyone. Please send in birthday information so that each month we can send birthday wishes your way!

P. S. I want to thank you all for your hard work and help at the February Meeting and White Elephant Sale! It was a great day and I think the new people that were there enjoyed themselves very much.
